Start of third week in Atlanta

Got this blog started this evening. Posted all of my historical updates, last week (new) and today. Tomorrow will work to add pictures and some audio. Will e-mail the masses the address tomorrow.

Monday – 9/25/06
Day 7 of Neupogen injections. 7 am apt at BMTG for bloodwork. They change my dressing again. My white counts have increased a bunch to 7.2, neutraphils are 6.11, and I’m not neutropenic. If they double by tomorrow to 15 or so total they will begin to harvest tomorrow. We’ll hope for that. They gave me 2 more days worth of Neupogen and discontinued the antibiotics since the white count recovered. My potassium is still low, increased supplements to two, 2X’s per day now. Daily banana and raisins have not helped either. My fever is gone. My mouth is getting a bit crappy along my gums in a few places. I’ll work hard to keep it from getting worse. Karin bought me a child’s toothbrush today. The hair is starting to fall out today. We shaved my head tonight. It is smooth again with a sheen. Bennett giggled during the process.
