Week in Review

Wednesday, 11/21, up early for treatment and to prep to go to NC for Thanksgiving. Marie drives me to donuts and to the Lewis Center for my infusion. I arrive before 8:30 to be one of the first in. Things go pretty quickly. I call Karin to have her there by 11:15. She arrives with Bennett and we are out before noon. We get some subs for the road and are on our way. Traffic is surprisingly light and we make it to Eden by 6:30 with 2 stops.

Thursday, 11/22 was Thankgiving. We had lunch at a restaurant in Eden. Pretty good for buffet with quite a crowd.

Friday, 11/23 we traveled to Hillsville, Va to visit family. It was cold. Bennett got to see snow flakes for the first time. That evening was the Leaksville, Christmas parade. We bundled up for the cold.

Saturday, 11/24. Karin ran her 3 miles first thing. It was 27 degrees when she finished. She is training to run a half marathon – details to follow in another update. We are on the road by 11:15. We make a stop at Bennett College in Greensboro to try to get Bennett some monogrammed clothes. They are closed for the holiday. We get some pics by the water tower with his name. We eat lunch at UNCG and are on the road. Again good travel traffic and we are in Savannah by 6:30.

I worked nights Sunday and Monday. I slept til noon today.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 11/28 is the 3rd round of my 1 year maintenance Rituxin therapy. Next week will be the last one for this cycle.

Take care,

Mark
